Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched investigation on the fact of premeditated murder, illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm as well as violence committed in group followed by damaging or destruction of other’s property. As a result of operative-investigative activities A.G. (DoB 1983) was detained for premeditated murder and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm.
Committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment. Investigation established that A.G. on the basis of conflict, inflicted lethal injury with a firearm to V.M. (DoB 1993). Due to the received injury, the victim died before he was transferred to the hospital.
During the personal search of the detainee, law enforcers seized the weapon of crime. Law enforcers managed to detain A.G. several hours after the crime took place as a result of immediate police activities. Investigation is in progress on the fact of 108 and 236, III and IV article, implying premeditated murder as well as illegal purchase and keeping of firearm.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of organization of violence in order to expose and detain others involved in the crime.
